Important Medication Information

Over the counter medication at school reminder:

In the school setting, students require documentation from their doctor in order for them to have Tylenol, Ibuprofen, Midol, Benadryl, etc. during the school day. This order is good for the entire school year. The parent can bring the form to me or the physician's office can fax an order to the school. The parent or guardian must bring the medication to school. No student is allowed to keep medications on his/her person.

If a student only needs an over the counter medicine for a couple of days, the parent can bring the medicine and a handwritten note stating the reason for the medication on a short term basis - orthodontic visit, insect bite, etc. This note is valid for 3 consecutive days.

Any questions? Please contact me and I will be happy to discuss.
