Rome Middle School's next PBIS event will be November 21, 2025, during Connections. This month, we are hosting a super fun cookie decorating party. Students who qualify cannot have ISS or OSS from 11/1 to 11/20, must have no more than 2 unexcused absences, and need to earn 7/10 points in both Wolf Blitz classes each week.


Rome City Schools is having a winter coat drive during the month of November. Donations of new or gently used coats are appreciated! Please drop them off at the Rome CCA building or contact Ms. Wilson for more information.

It is the goal of Rome city School to read 8 million minutes during the 2025-2026 school year. Rome Middle School is working toward their own goal of ONE million minutes. So far, students have logged 211,760 minutes in Beanstack.

There will be a National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) parent night on mental health on October 29, 2025, at 6 pm in the CCA Meeting Space. All middle school parents are welcome to join this one-hour session, ask questions and learn about the warning signs of mental illness in adolescents and teens. Please see the attached flyer for more information.


Don't forget spooky science night and the Halloween dance next Thursday, October 30 from 4-5:30 pm. Students may change into school appropriate costumes after school. Stick around for spooky science night from 5:30 to 6:30 in the cafeteria.

Coming to a Barnes and Noble near you...The RMS media center is having a book fair at Barnes and Noble on Saturday, 11/1, from 11 am to 6 pm. A portion of all sales from the store and the cafe that day will be used to purchase new books for our media center.
Show choir performances, crafts, a costume contest, and more, you don't want to miss this event!
